As the Muslim world celebrates Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, Filipino Muslims in the Philippines also honor Islam’s sacred day.
Filipinas, all in hijabs, in this photo have just finished attending their ceremonies at the Blue Mosque in Taguig City in Metropolitan Manila.
Scenes like this is by far larger in Southern Philippines and Islamic communities of Overseas Filipino Workers [OFWs] in Islamic Saudi Arabia.

Exactly a week ago is a remarkable day in the history of the Philippines, the signing of the Bangsamoro Peace Agreement.
Thousands of Muslims from Mindanao and different parts of the country traveled all the way here to Manila to support and witness the event.
I recall one lecture of a Sheikh in Europe where he discussed the longest Jihad in the history of our Ummah, surprisingly, he’s talking about the more than 500 years Jihad in Mindanao, yes, 500 years.
I am unaware of the entire framework, but I request everyone to please make dua for Mindanao and it’s Muslim inhabitants. Countless Muslims have died in defense of this land, this property, and Islam.
And like all Muslims who long for justice and peace, I am hoping for a true and genuine change for our homeland who only wants to preserve and protect Islam, inshaa Allaah.
May Allaah facilitate things, grant every single Muslim the complete understanding and implementation of Islam, and may Allaah accept the entire Ummah in Jannah with no single Muslim left behind, Ameen.
